How does the personalisation work?
You add your child’s name and age, choose the place tonight’s story happens in, pick a friend to bring along, and say what’s on their mind. Luna writes a brand-new story around all of it, with their name woven through rather than pasted on. No two stories are ever the same.
Is Luna Story safe for my child?
Every story is written for the age you choose and carries a kind value rather than any peril. There are no ads, no strangers and nothing to buy inside a story — plans and settings sit behind a grown-ups gate. A child’s name, a story’s words and whatever is on their mind are stripped in code before anything reaches an advertising service, so no child data is ever sold or shared.
Can we read the same story again?
Always. Every finished story is saved to your child’s bookshelf, and it reads and plays with no internet at all — so “that one” is there on the nights they ask for it, on a plane or in a cottage with no signal.
What does Luna Story cost?
The app is free to download, and a subscription opens with a three-night trial. A plan writes up to five stories a night, which is more than one bedtime asks for; if you would rather pay once, story packs are there instead. A story that fails to write costs nothing — nothing is used up.
Which languages does Luna Story write in?
All 12 of them: English, Arabic, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese in both simplified and traditional script. Each story is written natively in the language you pick, not translated into it afterwards.
