The pictures haven't appeared yet
The words are written first and saved straight away; the illustrations and the narration are made afterwards and arrive on their own, usually within a few minutes. You can close the app — the story will be on the bookshelf when you come back.
A story failed to write
Nothing was used up. A failed story never spends a credit or a night of your subscription. Try again — if it keeps failing, write to us.
Does it work without internet?
Reading and listening to stories already on the bookshelf works with no connection at all. Writing a new one needs the internet, because the story is written on our servers.
Why do I have to spell out numbers?
Settings, plans and anything that costs money sit behind a short gate meant to be tedious for a child and trivial for a grown-up. The child never sees a store.
I made a friend and they look different now
They shouldn't. A friend a parent invents is painted once and reused, so they look the same in every story. If one has changed, tell us which friend and we will look.
Cancelling
Subscriptions are cancelled in the App Store or Google Play, not in the app. Story packs are bought once and never renew, so there is nothing to cancel.
